Hi

Please can someone give me a step by step guide to lay a concrete floor for my conservatory, I'm confident I know how to do but just need reassurance, I'm also wanting to lay piping down for under floor heating, the type you connect to the radiator.

Thanks!!

for an underfloor heating project the floor specification needs to be:

100mm compacted mot stone.

25mm sand blinding.

1200gauge dpm.

100mm concrete slab.

75mm celotex insulation.

100mm floor screed with fibres.

I'm also wanting to lay piping down for under floor heating, the type you connect to the radiator.

Thanks!!

Be aware of the Building Regulations covering heating systems in a conservatory; you can’t’ just tee off the main house system, it must be capable of being separately controlled & isolated. In its simplest form, this can be done with a separate thermostat (or TRV if it’s radiators) & isolation valves on the heating loop that feeds the cons.
