Help needed - loud noises upstairs when taps on

The noise only happen when you turn taps on but not other taps? Should be able to hear / locate where the noise is at very high, like a hissing noise, most of the time I come across is the isovalve or incoming pipe to a middle branch on a tee.

Dan.

Yes, only two taps create the noise, for exmaple, a filtered water tap fed off the same pipe as the kitchen main tap doesn't though the kitchen main tap does. It's not quite hissing - more rushing but restricted... I guess it would mean getting to the pipes to check that, so hoping to find other ways around. Otherwise will want to go in via ceiling below if possible as otherwise our floor will have scars for life .

We've recently had a new combi system installed (Worcester Hi-Flow 550cvi), replacing an old cylinder/tank system, and are now experiencing really loud noises under the floor upstairs

all hot taps will previously have been low pressure, and depending on local practice, WC cistern and cold taps in bathroom too.

- we hear it with the hot and cold kitchen taps (but not frm a filter tap also in kitchen basin) and the hot tap only in the downstairs bathroom. Also happens when the upstairs bathroom sink mixer tap is on
