My daughter has a digital roof aerial from which 3 tv leads from a masthead amp. go to 3 rooms in the house, one being her bedroom. The lead to the living room has a Wolsey WS 100/1 power supply near the tv in that room. When this is powered up she gets a good picture in all three rooms. But when it is not powered the picture is poor. Now, she likes to watch tv in bed but does not want to leave the psu downstairs left on overnight, so this means getting up and a trip downstairs to switch it off---not what you want when you've got settled in bed. So she needs to be able to switch the power to the masthead amp off from her bedside. This sounded simple----wire another Wolsey 100 into her bedroom aerial lead. But,....on contacting the local aerial firm they said it was not possible to do this. Can anyone suggest a solution? If a psu could be added to her lead so that it was in parallel with the existing downstairs one would this answer the problem without blowing up the masthead amp. Does this sound possible ---or is there any other answer, please?

There is no problem here.
The power supply is designed to be left switched on permanently, and the amount of power it uses will be tiny. Switching it off will serve no useful purpose.

While it would be possible to relocate the power supply to the bedroom, this will probably involve changing the cables at the masthead amp, as it is likely only one of the sockets is designed for the power input.

No such thing as a 'digital aerial' either.
