Help please - Chimney Breast Removal - Gallows Brackets

Hi folks:

I'm currently renovating a Victorian house and would appreciate any thoughts you have on an old chimney breast removal.

See the pics attached, which I understand was done in the 1970s/80s.

There has been no (apparent) structural issues, but I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on whether this needs to be checked out by a structural engineer/ any remedial work obviously required.

There is no cracking of the brickwork so ( as is usual ) Woody is right ;)
