Hello:)

I have 2 rectangular laminate panels that I want to join together to make a bigger rectangle. It'll be the door to my cabinet.

I've read this guide: //www.diynot.com/pages/ww/ww017.php#a2. But I'm unsure how to go about it? can you please explain? maybe a simple illustration?

thank you very much for the help :)

what size are you talking about[thickness length and breadth]
are you talking 15mm conti board without a frame with a frame
or are you trying butt join side to side

or are you trying butt join side to side

this one. thank you

ok you havent answerd my question on material size or if a frames required so i will assume its a normal kitcken cabinet door size
//www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1451615#1451615
so all you will need is 2 mending plates
http://www.toolstation.com/documents/search/index.html?searchstr=mending+plates&submit=Go

as each part will have 2 or 3 hinges they only need holding to the same arc

any other solution will require an expenditure of between £15 to£60 on the basics to allow using buiscuts or dowels :rolleyes:

It seems the material is made of MDF. and no frames are required.
