Can someone advise what metal enclosure can be used to terminate the 2 swa cables ? And what kind of connector should be used inside to metal box to connect the swa cables to tails..
Its going to come down to what you can actually fit in there, you are not really meant to have any customer's gear in the meter cabinet but given we are trying to make the best of a bad situation then what you can do is largely going to driven by what you can fit and you don't supply any measurements.
I assume one goes to 24-7 consumer unit, and the other to E7 board?
Also is OK to have fit it a metal enclosure with 2 switch isolators inside as is easy to terminate the swa cables...and have the isolator switch in the same time...
Moving on past the customers switchgear in meter box issue, you'll need more an isolators, those two submains will require overcurrent protection - what size are they? You also should have an upfront double pole isolator for the whole installation, Personally I'd tend towards a smallish DIN modular enclosure with a couple of double pole MCBs, however, it'll need to be small enough to fit yet big enough to allow the cores to be dressed around after they are glanded in the back. You might find you have to get the supplier out to shift the meter and off peak contactor down.
Ah, Is that a strict requirement? or minimum grading? Should technicians refrain from answering, what about those who work in Sectors where the JIB is less relevant?
Who is doing this work?
.... as you can see in the image this was done by a dodgy electrician..
