Hi, can anyone help please? I am trying to remove an old shower rail/riser but have had no success so far and do not want to force it. Please see pictures attached. The top and bottom brackets look like they have a removable plate each but they wont shift.

    Thanks.

The covers should just prise off ,top and bottom ,to reveal the mounting screws. I assume you intend to fit a new one ,so damaging the plastic covers won't matter .

Thanks Terry. They seem well and truly stuck. Have you seen this type of fixing before? I am replacing the rail so damage won't be a problem provided I don't damage tiles.

Seen so many similar .if its plastic just lever off the cover. Doesn't require going anywhere near the tiles. Lever close to where the vertical bar meets the cover.
