Hello everyone been using this site for the past couple of years and I have received some really useful DIY tips, here's hoping that can be continued.
I am currently refurbing my en suite bathroom, the good lady would like an illuminated mirror fitted. I would like to know if I can use the wiring from the shaving socket to power the mirror, would just be a case of re routing the cable as I have plasterboard partition walling, and are there any safety points I should be aware of?
The shaving socket is on the lighting circuit and is a twin and earth cable. My house is 10 years old with a modern RCD consumer unit.
I haven't purchased the mirror yet was hoping to get one with an independent on off switch or one that is touch sensitive.
Thanks in advance.
