There is no switch live on the new light fitting

Could be, but surely that’s incorrect and or misleadingDoes that not just mean there is a red sleeve on one of the neutrals?
Agreed. If it has a red sleeve then it isn’t a neutral anyways.Could be, but surely that’s incorrect and or misleading
How can you say that? It could be anything.Agreed. If it has a red sleeve then it isn’t a neutral anyways.
Is there another light which works at thsame time as this one? If there is Does the existing fitting and the rest of the house's lighting work correctly as it is at the moment? There is no switch live on the new light fitting
I believe that is what I see and I had to look on a second (older and supposedly much lower quality/technology) PC to see it when Stuck pointed it out.How can you say that? It could be anything.
I suppose it is too late for a better picture.

Could be completely pointless, but I saw it when zoomed in, it's not a large/long sleeve and could be photo quality, but I highlighted it on post#11Think this is pointless as I couldn’t see a red sleeve in the pic?
