Hi!

This morning when going to switch on my shower, I noticed that the pull-cord isolator switch wouldn't work. The dial shimmies between 'ON' and just 'O', it won't engage 'OFF', and at the 'ON' position the red light is off and the shower won't work (no amount of pulling the cord or slackening it off to release tension seems to do anything to rectify this).

I'm not a wiring novice, and understand where cables go, but my real question is: can anyone tell me how to fix my switch?!

Or is it a case of going out and buying a new one on my lunch break?

Thanks a lot!

Jamie

Its buy a new one.

3 things:

  • Turn the power off before you start!
Make sure you get the feed and load connections round the right way
Make sure the connections are done up really tight.
