Help removing speedfit end cap

Hello!

I'm looking for advice removing a speedfit end cap from my washing machine supply hose.

I found advice in this forum to push on it and pull the attached end away from the hose, but that seems to be impossible given the way it's attached.

Please see the attached photos. How can I get this off? Do I need some kind of specialised tool?

I'd probably undo the compression nut, hold the pipe with grips and then use the nut to try and push and release the collar

I would cut it off with an hacksaw or undo the nut on the flexi and knock the pipe through and start again with a new olive.

Thanks guys, I took the nut off and the plastic bit came away fairly easily afterwards. Thanks for your help!
