Just bought a new washing machine which is a cold water fill only, so now have a redundant hot water feed.

The w/machine tap is still attached to the pipe (switched to "off" of course), but to be on the safe side I wanted to cap this off aswell. How can I do this without removing the tap fitting (which would mean draining the system). I cannot find any push fit stop ends that fit because the end of the fitting is threaded (where the w/machine hose used to fix onto)

go to your local plumbers merchant. you can get a comp blank but if ur not using it it will be fine anyway they only fail when ur using em or when you get the big freeze
