Help,

I have A Vailiant Combi bolier that works fine for heating but doesn't either heat the water at all or does only for a small amount.

I have checked the pressure which is fine.

Any suggestions?

Sorry i can't find a model number. Its a Combi boiler with a balanced flue approximately 8-10 years old. Its got the lights (which indicate ignite, opeation etc) when you open the bottom panel. I hope that helps.

I have also notice that the pressure relief valve is leaking water from the pipe outside and hence the pressure is dropping to zero which means i need to fill the system - do you think this is the cause - a contributing factor!!

Probably you have a VUW turbomax. Black control panel/green knobs. Likely you have a diverter valve problem.

That fits the description it definately has green knobs.

How much will a diverter valve cost to replace?

I am doing one at a local church!

£84 plus cost of valve.

They can be quite a pain to fit particularly if there is no space on the right.
