So, we moved into our house 12 months ago and have had the f75 code 5 times on our vailliant boiler.

It's about 4 years old and has been serviced each year by the company that installed it.

Each time the pump gets clogged. Up until now they have fixed it free of charge but understandably have charged us this time.

My argument is why have they not actually fixed whatever it is that is causing this??? We asked and they said its easier for them to just clean out the pump rather than install new parts??? Well that's fine unless we end up paying £100 every 3 months for the boiler fixing - they don't seem to care if it keeps breaking down but obviously now they are billing us whereas if they had actually fixed the route of the issue 2, 3, 4 visits ago chances are we wouldn't need to be paying them to fix it still.

Not sure what to do, we actually paid a different plumber to fix it last time and it worked for longer than when they have do it in the past.

We had a 15 year old ideal boiler at our old house, never let us down once.

Aby ideas on what to do/what to ask for to fix it for longer than 12 weeks at a time?

Thanks in advance.

your system hasnt been cleaned properly, there is a kit that can be installed for F75 codes , but it wont clean a dirty system

Have you seen what comes out of the pump? Is it hard black magnitite bits?

The boiler is approx 4 years old. How old is the heating system? Agree with @ianmcd, your system is dirty, and he wasn’t referring to the magnaclean - that’s just a magnetic filter. If your boiler is definitely 4 years old, you won’t need the kit. There’s also another part that’s usually the culprit of F75.
