I have a 2-Way Switch wired as in the Link shown below,

Old 2-Way Switch

I have purchased a 2-Way Dimmer Switch as shown in the Link Below,

New Dimmer Switch

As far as I can see there is no common on the Dimmer Switch, I assume that the A1/B1 From the OLD Switch will goto the 2 L1's of the Dimmer Switch, but where do I connect the ACOM/BCOM Link & the Red, Switch Wire also in ACOM??

Is it in the ~ Terminal or the L2 Terminals, If indeed I can use the Dimmer that I have purchased??

Any help would be appreciated. I understand also that I will need to put an earth wire from the back-box onto the Brass Plate, and that all the Black Common's will stay as they are, into a connector block.

Thanks

The L1 on the new switch is the same as the L1 on the old switch.
The L2 on the new switch is the same as the L2 on the old switch.

The wavy line with an arrow through it on the new switch is the same as the COM on the new old switch.

The new switch lacks A's and B's, they just show you what belongs to what gang of the switch, A is one gang, B is the other, on the new switch is it clear where one gang ends and the other starts :)

Thanks,

Just been going thru the FAQ's above & Found a Post which says just what you have said, Have connected it & Now the missus is happy!!!!
