I am in the middle of modernising a kitchen - the original was installed with the newly built house in 1992. Having replaced cupboard doors and appliances, I need a new piece of worktop to match the existing one in the kitchen.

As such, I need to track down my manufacturer and see whether they have the piece or something that is similar or will complement. The house builder is no longer in business

Please can anyone give me advice on how I can track down old worktops ? The existing one is marked underneath as made in England, with a marking as follows: 0 6 / 1 / 92 1. Another piece has similar marking 0 21 / 1 / 92 1.
The colour is a light speckled grey.

Any help or advice would be appreciated ...... Thanks.

It will be difficult, have you tried ebay? failing that, it might be easier to replace the whole worktop.

a 15 yearold worktop realy is at the end if its working life
assuming its now discontinued no one will have it in stock

worktops are never usualy in stock at retail outlets except the most popular as it can be orderd in between 1 and 4 days
so any odd lenghts are going to get batterd and got rid off because they will be in the way
