I am a new DIYer. I have just finished tiling my kitchen and used a ready mixed grout which has now set like hard onto my tiles, I have tried scrubbing it but it can't be moved, I need some sort of solution to rub on it to get it to soften so I can get it off, can anyone help? - my tiles look a complete mess.

Thank you

Ready mixed grout is pants - use powdered every time.
Scrape off the big bits carefully with a chisel, screwdriver, knife etc... Then wet the grout with hot water using a sponge, leave it to soak in, wet it again and then try rubbing at it with a green scotchbrite pad. It'll be slow work, but it should shift it. Try it at a less noticable place first in case the scotchbrite marks the tile (it shouldn't but to be on the safe side, check anyway).
