Help with leaking isolation valve on CH pipe

(If I'd been sure of the best course of action I wouldn't have come on here in the first place!)

Actually I did follow some of the suggestions on here, and did replace the pipe that included the leaking iso valve with a new continuous piece. Thanks to all who advised.
