Help With Potterton EP2001 Controller

Hi,

The hot water today was stone cold so I went through to check the boiler.

The control unit (EP 2001) is very faint. When you press the buttons it lets out a weak 'peep'. The LED display appears to be changing with each button press but is very weak. Regardless of whether the heating or water is set to continueous the boiler does not come on. Battery is holding 3.58V.

Any possible fix or am I looking at a new unit?
