Help with window ' foil'

Hi All,

any suggestions on how to repair this , or even just make it look better , customer does NOT want to go the expense of replacing the whole frame , New sashes were discussed but these are external glazed , and all our supplies only do internally glazed. Original company fitting them has completely washed their hands of the job , so no point in going back to them

I know this is becoming more common these days too , due to the foils absorbing the heat and the dark frames moving in the heat

Unfortunately not Crank ... they are about 12 years old according to the customer. It was a competitor who put them in and they don't want anything to do with it , so I'm trying to help out the elderly gentleman.
