High level remote cistern query

Hello!

Tiny downstairs toilet. Can you high level mount a remote cistern that's sold for low level mounting? Specifically, could you pop this one in a cupboard at ceiling level and run the pipe down the inside of an internal stud wall:

Will that cause flush issues?

Those were my thoughts too - but I didn't want to be the first to run the experiment only to find that it turned the toilet into some kind of hydraulic powered turd firing siege weapon...

Splashing, maybe. I knew someone who'd put a high-level cistern in their loft, with a pull-cord going through the ceiling. It was like that for decades, so there can't have been any major problems.

You might have to put a re-stricter in the flush pipe due to splashing, it might have to be trial and error.
