Just checked ELI for a friend. Everything fine exept ELI on Sockets. They were;

Hall 1.4
study 1.3
Bed1 1.3
Bed2 1.2
Lounge 0.7

Its run on a ring in 32A type b MCB so should be below 1.2. Does the fact its 0.7 in lounge then goes up considerably indicate loose wire? What else could be cause?

I take it you used an EFLI tester? Ze is external loop impedance btw :wink: , you mean Zs?
If you power off and cross connect the L&E connectors at the CU and go around all the sockets checking the resistance are they all very similar? See p33 of GN3 or p69 OSG.

Not there now, but if did that and got diff readings would this indicate loose wire?
Ze is 0.19

What is the Ze of the installation?

What is the earthing type?

Have you tried an end to end ring continuity test?

TN_C_S system. End to end continuity showed continuity but can't remember reading now, will have to check it again
