I have a 4 channel NVR, that has suddenly stopped receiving video to IVMS4200. Having looked further i see that the NVR is working if i attach a monitor direct, but appears the ethernet port going in stays red, can't ping the IP address either. Tried another cable but same. Anything else to try or is it likely the ethernet port has died on the NVR?

Have you proven the other end? One end goes to Nvr the other goes to? Is that port 100% fine?
 
When you say you can't ping the IP address, could that have changed?
Did you set it to static IP or is it DHCP?

i had one of these before moving on to a Blueiris pc. I ended up factory resetting it to clear the problem. I didnt find the ivms that reliable.
