Hive connection to Vitodens 100

Hi I have recently purchased a hive 2 stat for my viesmann vitodens 100 connections in boiler
E EARTH SUPPLY CABLE
L LIVE SUPPLY CABLE
N NEUTRAL SUPPLY CABLE
1 SWITCH TO SENDER CONNECTION 3
L LIVE TO SENDER CONNECTION L AND LINKED TO CONNECTION 1
N NEUTRAL TO SENDER CONNECTION N
ANY HELP IS GRATEFUL

It Looks right dont forget to remove link x1 if not already removed.

Hi James,

I hope you don't mind starting this thread up again. And I hope you see this, because your post was nearly a year ago on the DIYnot forum.

I have exactly the same boiler and I'm looking to self install a Hive receiver. I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer for me.

Did your boiler have a Vitotrol thermostat receiver connected to the right front of the boiler panel with a cable running to the X7 connection on the boiler motherboard?

If so, did you just disconnect this cable from the boiler?

Secondly, does the Hive receiver get it's power from the Live connection within section F of connections on the boiler?

I appreciate any help with these questions.
