Hive on worchester 28i

Hi. I'm a bit confused as to the loop I have in the pic and if I need to recreate it with the hive . should my common and live be looped together like in the diagram I found on here.

The connections on your diagram look OK except that you are using a blue (neutral) wire as a live from terminal 3 of the Hive. However, I would simply move the existing thermostat wires from the existing thermostat to the Hive receiver.

The arrangement of the wires at the thermostat stay exactly as they are including the link. They connect to the Hive single channel receiver as below, then no need to change anything at the boiler end.

Brown wires (including one end of loop) in both of the existing thermostat L

terminals go to Hive L

Blue wire in existing thermostat N goes to Hive N

Other end of brown loop in thermostat A goes to Hive common (1)

Wire with brown tape on in existing thermostat in B goes to Hive heating on (3)

Thanks stem. That's great . Yes I'll keep wire colours the same .I was just being lazy and recycling one I found here when I searched .
