Hive Stat Link Out

Hi All,

just installed hive and need to link out the stat.

i know its not best practice but i'm leaving the old stat in situ as don't want to have to repair wall and the wiring centre in behind boxes and a pain to get to.

Can someone advise please

I would say 1 and 3 are the lives. 2 would be the neutral.

There is probably a wiring diagram on the inside of the lid that would confirm this, so send a pic of that, before you alter anything.

Yes, 1 is live, 3 is 'load' live.

2 is the neutral.

Just to doubly make sure, can you confirm what I should link, i’ve had a mad day and want to see it written down

Brown and Black are the normally open contacts that close when calling for heat, therefore if you linked them the heating would be on permanent.
Not sure what you are trying to do really.
