Heating thermostat wiring help

The Brown wire goes to 'Com' and the Green / Yellow wire goes to 'NO'

The Blue neutral wire is not required by the new thermostat, so should be insulated and tucked safely out of the way. If the terminal to the left of the 'Com' terminal is not connected to anything, then you could put it in there, but check that it is isolated first.

It's bad practice that a green / yellow (earth) wire is being used as a live conductor, as a minimum it should have a brown sleeve over it.
