Hole in back of monoblock basin mixer

Hi all,

I am looking for something to fill in the hole at the back of a basin mixer that was intended to be used with a pop-up waste but client has now changed mind about waste but doesn't like the look of the hole!

Struggling for ideas for something that won't look too hideous, help?

you can get chrome as well

If you put the knob and rod through the hole, cut it short, then you can use the linkage piece to hold it firmly in place.
