I have a homebase portable aircon unit model 253797. Unbelievably a pigeon has come in through the vent and hose connected to the outer wall and dropped down inside it down by the front fan section! I know its a pigeon because his/her mate has been standing outside for days cooing for it!
Its obviously died because we have now had flies coming out of the machine and when I tipped it up the fly pupa cases have been falling out. The bird hasn't fallen out however and is beginning to smell, especially in this hot weather!
Basically, I cant get it out and cant seem to get access to the front section without destroying the front panel.
Any ideas?
