Hello, I've had this Honeywell CM927 thermostat for a few years from new.

The temperature up button has gradually become less and less responsive over the years.
I now have to press it really hard and at a very specific angle to turn the temperature up.
All other buttons are fine.

I've taken it apart and cleaned all the contact points but the issue remains.

I believe it needs a new button membrane, but where can I get official replacement parts from?
It seems as if the round black rubber contact pad for the up button has lost it's conductiveness.

Thanks!

If you have any old, broken remote controls lying around, you could try the contact pad from one of those buttons.

If you experiment with those and the problem persists, then the issue may lie elsewhere.

If the button works, you may be able to super glue the new contact onto the bottom of the old button.

Probably time for a new one. My advice, steer clear of expensive and less reliable Honeywell.
