Honeywell DT90E Digital Room Stat

The room stat was renewed 3 months ago. It has worked ok up until now.

In the last few days it has taken to making a clicking noise twice a second, much like a fast grandfather clock or music metronome! This only happens once every few days!

I have changed the batteries, but this makes no difference!

Has anyone come across this before?

Try resetting it to factory settings. Otherwise it will be guffed and needs replacing.
