Honeywell to Drayton

Hi all,

I'm about to change a Honeywell ST6400C control box to a Drayton wiser 2 channel control box. The boiler is a Potterton HE plus. I will leave the old Thermostat as it is but switch it fully open.

My question is, can I directly swap wiring to the new Drayton backplate and in the same positions as on the Honeywell backplate and expect it to work as intended?

Yes pretty much (y) if there’s nowhere on Drayton to park the earth, safely terminate in a choc block.
