Hello

washing is ripped/torn intermittently :(

A look inside drum revealed nothing apart from a lighty deformed/

damaged doorseal. Is it easy to replace what parts are needed & cost ?

Any other ideas ?

TIA

Is the clothing torn or does it have small holes? Before going as far as changing the door bellow (as it is not an easy or a particularly nice job to do) take a peek for the following; A bra wire protruding slightly from one of the holes in the drum, or one or more of the plastic paddles could be very loose. You could also check if there is excessive distance between the lip of the drum & edge of the door seal as this sometimes can partially trap & rip light clothing. The door bellow would have to be changed if the latter is the case.

Also clothes beening put on wrong programmes being a washer dryer this is quite common. It will catch the clothes on the vent cos of spin speeds are different.

hello

zipper & rocks1

will try and post some photos later .

Is fitting door seal difficult ?

May replace this Hoover washer/dryer with a large capacity washer
any recomendations that have a long warranty ?

TIA

Hello zipper
Its a bit of a pain to change but with a little patience fully possible. There are some great video examples on youtube that you would find very helpful. Here's one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAZZ2A2ZNZ8&feature=related Different make but same principle.

Good video.

Time to fit door seal about 20mins but now have an intermittent problem with door lock/led .

If the door switch functioned before you changed the bellow then perhaps the connection plug to it is off/loose.
