Howzit,
just replaced the drum bearings on our Hoover washer/dryer Softline 1100, all went according to plan - but when I ran a test wash on completion, the machine kept taking on water to the point of overflowing. I moved the cycle forward to pump clear and tried again only for the same thing to happen - any ideas or solutions gladly accepted :?:

Sounds like a problem with the pressure system on the water level control.

You need to check the pressure vessel and tube which should be located at the back of the machine, at the bottom.

Check there are no splits in the rubber tube and that there are no loose connections. You can try blowing down the tube (not very hard). You should be able to hear a clicking noise.
