Horstmann Economy 7 Quartz - Immersion Heater Control

I have one of the above installed in my new flat. I was quite surprised by this control as it only heats water once - but - to be honest it works for me as the tank is large. However - just recently - and especially today - when I awoke there was only just enough water for 2 showers.

Could this cold weather really make such a difference?

Normally I can get 2 showers in the morning - then hot water in teh evening also....

Yes the weather can affect it as the shower will probably be drawing more hot water to reach the set temp.

Your programmer should have a boost button though for peak times.
