Hoping someone can help as going round and round in circles :)

I need to buy an adapter to connect my hosepipe to out kitchen tap. Unfortunately, the kitchen tap is a flat-ended mixer tap, similar to the one shown in the below image.

I just cannot seem to find anything anywhere, as any adaptors/connectors I come across seem to be for round-ended taps.

Has anyone come across something similar before? If so, can you please point me in the right direction?

Hi,

I think you could maybe try something like:

However, for compliance with the regs with double check valves, improved flow rate and no scratches on a nice tap, a plumbed in outdoor tap could be a far better solution :)

...and just imagine if you nudged the tap over to hot, before using the hose; with current energy costs, you could end up bankrupt! :ROFLMAO:

You can buy outdoor tap kits, including all the necessary parts quite cheaply and some of them you do not even need to turn the water off, to fit them. The most difficult part is making the hole through the wall.

Hi Carefreeant,

If your tap has an aerator built in you can normally unscrew them and it could be replaced with something like this:
