I want to put a water tap at the far end of the garden. It would be plumbed inside through a gate valve. I would only really need to use it in the summer and it would probably be shut off inside during the winter.

I would like to bury the pipe/hose under a patio.

Is a non-return valve needed?
What sort of pipeing/hose is ideal?
Are there any legal restrictions?
Could I get away with using the push fit pipes and fittings I have left over for the CH install?
