Hot cooker cord

I have a range cooker 2400W which has a factory fitted cord on it. The Flex gets quite warm in use and I wondered if this is normal? If not what sort of flex would I need to replace this with?

If the flex was factory fitted, I would say there is no issue aslong as the flex is an equal temp along the length.
