hello people...
can someone advise me re electrics to 30amp hot tub....does the hot tub need an isolation switch local to the tub or just wired straight in to the control box ?
i was going to fit a new rcd+mcb box just for the tub, then use 6mm armoured from the box to the tub.....is the earth in the cable sufficiant or do i need a ground stake?

thanks

Earth in cable is fine.

You need a double pole 30amp isolator, atleast 2m from tub. Most people site them a foot from the floor on the fouse wall, out of site somewhere. Gewiss do good ones.

A stake is not needed.

Maybe worth you looking for posts ref PME and earth rods for stuf outside equipotential zones. This aint a reg in itself, but a recommendation from the elec board. However, as a tub has no exposed metal work, i would not bother worrying about PME earthing.
