Hot water but no central heating?

I shouldn't have held my breath, boiler is back up to its old tricks.

Currently stood opposite with the stat at 30, boilers fan making its usual noise and no pilot light or lit burner.

What are the chances it's a dodgy sensor? Regardless I'll be giving a plumber a call tomorrow.

Do they need any special accreditation to work on LPG as well as an unvented hot water cylinder?

Thanks

Yeah I got it sorted, the gas engineer found that the condensate drain was blocked. He cleaned the drain, gave the boiler a service and charged me £60 which was well worth it for the hassle it was causing!

If it was the condensate blocked how come the boiler was running to give hot water ?

It turned out it wasn't giving any hot water, for the last few days before having it repaired I needed to turn on the immersion heater to get any hot water
