Hot water issues

..... I can`t believe the system was fitted without one as it obviously would never work as it is, but , hey ho!!

Older installations often had unpumped gravity circulation around the hot water circuit.

Gravity circulation was usually installed without any restrictions in the pipes, as generally, it needed all the help it could get to work efficiently.

It is only when a gravity system gets changed to a pumped hot water circuit that the free flow around the circuit becomes apparent.
