I recently fitted a new kitchen with a new MONOBLOC TAP (i think its called that...) the cold water is coming out with immense pressure but the hot water is very slow but Hotwater does come......Is it meant to be like that. The Tap was given to me by someone, it hasnt been used but has been lying around in someone's garage for a few months now. Is it something to do with the washer bit inside or is the pressure meant to be like that.....

Is it a quarter turn tap and do you have a hot water cylinder and cold tank in the roof? These taps often only work on high pressure hence the cold side is OK (off the mains).

no its not a quarter turn tap and yes, i have a hot water cylinder and cold tank in the roof. Do u think there's an issue with the tap itself????
