Hi all.

I have been reading this forum for a number of months to help plan my kitchen diner refurb, but have arrived at an issue that i could not find an answer to.

The following picture is of lagging on 15mm copper hot water pipes that was only on a small area once i removed the boxing in. I'm a little concerned that it may contain asbestos. I know that it does not look like any of the asbestos lagging that i could find pictures of on the internet, but can anyone confirm?

Thank you in anticipation.

Thanks pred. Hope you are correct.

Anyone else have a different view before I get the scissors out?

I have seen this or something very similar to this, can you find it around door ways as I have seen something like this around basement door, it was an old house so would it possibly be horsehair due to looking like this?
