Hotpoint FEW12

Hello,

Our Hotpoint FEW12 sounds like it has something bouncing around inside it when a spin is running.

Does anyone know how easy this machine is to strip down, and whether the problem is likely to be something thats simply found its way inside the machine rather than something more serious like bearings?

Take the sump hose off and see if you can find anything,

To check for bearings put your hand inside the drum on the front edge and see if it moves up and down at all.
Take the belt off and spin the drum by hand and listen for a rumbling sound

Did find a few bits inside there, not much cash though only 55p!!

I'm just running it on a boil wash now so will see if it sounds any better.
