Hotpoint fridge/freezer FFA90

Ice is collecting behind the bottom compartment of the freezer.
I have cleared this as it was jamming the compartment. There is a steady trickle of water running out which will freeze again if not sorted.
Any clues please?

Yes it will. 24 hr defrost will cure it.

Do I need to remove all of the food in the freezer first?
have tried the Hotpoint Customer service, who are pretty hopeless!

Yes eat it or store It in Another freezer

Many thanks.........I wasn't sure whether the defrost you suggested was a
'system' one where it managed to sufficiently cure the problem but kept the food frozen.
I wouldn't be on this site if I was an expert!..........lol.
We're starting to eat our way to obesity as I speak!
