Hotpoint RFS60 Freezer

Anyone know if is possible to turn the freezer compartment off but keep the fridge compartment on?

Only asking as the freezer is never used and hoping to save electricity.

Not sure but I doubt it. Filling the freezer compartment with polystyrene or containers of water may help save electricity though.
