Hotpoint TDL54P tumble dryer timer reversing

The timer reversing control is knackered so i ordered a new one from hotpoint part number C00099102
But the new one is different from the old one, ive been told its the right part but has changed a bit.
The problem im having is the old one had 5 wires connected to it, and the new one only has connecters for 4 wires so not sure what to do with lose wire? can anyone shed any light?

on the timer , a1 is brown wire ,ao is red , a is grey, whats left is blue piggy backed together ,
