Hotpoint WF220 does not complete programme

New heater element arrived today so fitted it - machine works perfectly! Thank you so much for all your help. I'm really pleased that with your advice I have managed to repair the machine rather than just buy another one.

I have been reading your post about your washing machine with the faulty heater.I have the same problem with the same model.Did changing the heater solve the problem and if so could you point me in the right direction of where you bought it from and who..?

The OP said they changed the heater and it worked ok 3 posts above yours.

Google hotpoint spares and you will get dozens of companys including Hotpoint listed, you may even find a company near you that sells them in a shop (we have a few down here)
