my washing machine is taking a long cycle time and never seems to reach rinse cycle.I have to switch it off and restart it then select the rinse and spin cycle, it does this and then I can get the clothes washed. have checked the power -ok. have checked the input hoses-ok. the door lock is working.Is it the circuit board?I have also pumped the machine out and this also works to empty the machine.Any suggestions would be great thanks.
 
there could be a problem with the heater or the stat(NTC), its waiting for the water to reach its temp ie 40 but it cant so its sticks. test heater and stat
