Hotpoint WF430 Washing machine

I have the above machine. We've had it for about 5 years and have never had it serviced or cleaned the filter out. Given that we've got a cat I guess we probably should at some point.

Therefore my questions:
- does this model have a filter we should clean?
- If so can I do it, or do I need to find a technician?
- Should I get it serviced anyway?
- Any recommendations on what type of technician to employ - are the brand names e.g. hotpoint silly expensive in comparison to independants?

no need for a service ,if you want too clean the filter out round the back is a white cover undo it and see the black cup underneath with a jubilee clip on it undo and thats the filter .
